Every great photoshoot begins with thoughtful planning. We’ll start by discussing your vision: whether it’s a personal shoot, professional portfolio, family moments or something entirely unique. Together, we’ll explore key details such as location, wardrobe and the style of photographs you’d like to achieve.

03. Seasons, Weather & Timing

London’s weather is famously unpredictable, but that’s part of its charm! Rainy days can add character, creating stunning, atmospheric shots. Each season offers something special, from the vibrant blossoms of spring to the warm, golden tones of autumn.

For the most flattering light, we’ll aim to shoot during the golden hours (just after sunrise or before sunset) when the light is soft and magical. Whatever the season or weather, we’ll make sure your photos are captured beautifully, highlighting the unique essence of the moment.

04. Preparation

On the day of the shoot, we’ll have everything set up and ready to go. Our photography style is clean and bright, so lighter, neutral tones or soft colours work beautifully for clothing, as they enhance the overall aesthetic.

We recommend avoiding bold patterns or dark shades, as they can overpower the image and take attention away from the natural beauty of the setting and subject.

Comfort is key, especially if we’ll be moving between locations, so comfortable shoes are a great choice. If you’d like, you can also arrange for a makeup artist or hairstylist to help you get ready, ensuring you feel confident and camera-ready. Together, we’ll create a relaxed and enjoyable experience that brings out the best in every shot.

05. The Photoshoot

On the day of the shoot, I’ll guide you through a variety of poses, angles and expressions to capture your best moments. No need to worry if you’re not used to being in front of the camera, we’ll provide clear direction to help you feel relaxed, confident and have fun throughout the session.

We'’ll take multiple shots to ensure we have plenty of options. Afterwards, we can review some of the photos together to ensure you’re happy with what we’ve captured. If needed, we’ll make adjustments on the spot to get everything just right. It’s all about creating an enjoyable experience and stunning results!

05. POST-EDITING AND DELIVERY

Once the shoot is finished, we’ll move on to post-processing. I’ll select the best images and then edit them, adjusting the lighting, colours and any small imperfections to ensure they look polished.

Please note: We don’t deliver unedited images, as editing is an essential part of the photography process and artistry. Once the editing is complete, I’ll deliver the final images to you, and we can discuss prints if that’s something you’re interested in. The number of final edited images will depend on the package you’ve chosen.
